Setting up Outlook 2007 to access GoDaddy e-mail
MS OUTLOOK 2007
1. From Microsoft Office Outlook, select Account Configuration. Select
Yes
and select
Next
.
2. Select
Manually configure server settings or additional server types
then select
Next
.
3. Select
Internet E-mail
and select
Next
.
4a. To use IMAP Select
IMAP
as the Account Type. Fill in the correct information and select
More Settings...
.
4b. To use POP Select
POP
as the Account Type. Fill in the correct information and select
More Settings...
.
5. Select
My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
and turn on
Use same settings as my incoming mail server
. Select
OK
.
6. GoDaddy email servers use the standard ports. Under the "Advanced Settings" tab ensure the outgoing server port is
25
and the incoming server port is
110
.
If you have a problem sending email out then change your outgoing server port to
3535
.
7. Once you have completed the Advanced Settings click
OK
and then
Next
and finish the account setup wizard.
